As a Trainee EU Road Freight Clerk, you’ll be learning all aspects of the position and gaining skills for lifelong opportunities. The company is offering a salary of £17-18k depending on skill set.

Trainee EU Road Freight Clerk duties include:
Processing of consignments arriving to the UK by road from Europe.
Liaising with customers, partners, customs authorities, third party hauliers and agents
Obtaining freight rates and providing quotations
Arranging domestic and international transport
Preparing import/export documentation
Customs formalities
Skills and Qualifications required from the Trainee EU Road Freight Clerk:
Previous experience within logistics would be ideal
High organisational skills and ability to manage many projects at the same time
Ability to prioritise own workload
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Conversant in IT skills e.g., Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) and CRM systems
An administrative background
GCSE – C/5 and above
Must have an analytical skill, with a high level of attention to detail
Work as part of a team
